Rylander, Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts and compiled by the Texas
Center for Border Economic and Enterprise Development. Sales Tax Allocations
shown for selected South Texas border cities. Yearly totals, Gross and
Taxable sales reported and maintained quaterly on selected cities for
all industry and retail outlets.

county, special purpose district or transit authority by the Comptroller's
office for their local sales tax collections.
Allocation amounts are dependent upon the timing and accuracy of taxpayers'
returns, but generally represent taxes collected on sales made two months
or more prior to the allocation payment.

About the Data in the Reports
The reports include data only from holders of sales tax permits. Businesses
that sell only goods that are outside the sales tax base are not covered
by these reports. A business that files yearly reports will show up
only in a single quarter.
